Amani has generously donated her painting for our Auction to raise funds for our Shelter where we care for women and children escaping family and domestic violence in south east Sydney.

Amani Haydar, award winning artist, lawyer, writer and advocate for women's health and safety. Amani's self-portrait was a finalist in the 2018 Archibald prize. In 2020, Amani was selected finalist in the NSW Premier's Woman of the Year Awards. Amani has generously and graciously donated her latest painting to Bayside Women's Shelter to auction over the International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women 2021.
Beautifully framed, 540mm x 540mm, this colourful collectors piece would look stunning in any home or office.

A memoir that is truly engaging and where Amani uses storytelling and advocacy in honour of her mother's life, lost violently in 2015 at the hands of her father.
